Local Family Farm in Trenton, NC 

Lakebed Farm was founded in 2019 by Lewis Mason. As a wholesale farm in the Greenville, NC area, Lakebed Farm grows over 20 different varieties of local vegetables. The majority of the land is dedicated to corn and organic kale. However, over half of Lakebed Farm's land is used for organic production for wholesale organic vegetables. 

 

Lewis grew up in Upstate New York working on his family's 200-year-old farm. Today, Lakebed Farms works in conjunction with Mason Farms, the family's farm, to help extend the growing season. As a family-run farm, the addition of Lakebed Farm in the Greenville, NC area helps to keep both family farms in production 8 months out of the year!
